Megan Cooke was born in Shakopee, Minnesota to two fantastically nerdy parents who encouraged her to read, draw, and write to her heart’s content. She inhaled science fiction and fantasy books, particularly anything with dragons in it.
Megan went to the Ringling College of Art + Design. She developed hobbies in birdwatching and shrimp keeping. She eventually graduated with a B.F.A. in Computer Animation and a minor in Creative Writing.
Megan left behind Missouri and Florida to move to Colorado once she had graduated. She has ghost-written six published fantasy and sci-fi novels as well as one unpublished literary novel. She’s now working on her first full-length novel under her own name. Her favorite hobbies include violin, hiking, accidentally murdering houseplants, and relaxing with her cat.
